Privacy Policy

Beavcon Building Contracting L.L.C ("Beavcon", "we") is the controller of the personal data you submit through https://www.beavcon.net. This page explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

• Enquiry details you enter in BuildScope, the site-visit and tender forms: name, company, email, phone, preferred contact method, project location and scope, and any notes.
• Files you upload (BOQs, drawings, photos, tender documents). Executable files are rejected.
• Technical data needed to prevent abuse: a hashed IP address and browser user agent stored with each submission.
• Analytics data. Every public page — never the staff admin area — loads Google Tag Manager, which Beavcon uses to measure how the site is used: pages viewed, calls, WhatsApp and email links tapped, and how far enquiry forms are completed. Enquiry events carry the reference, enquiry type, chosen work types, emirate and budget band only; your name, phone number, email address, site address, uploaded files and notes are never sent to analytics. The same measurements are also sent to Mixpanel, an analytics service operated by Mixpanel, Inc., so Beavcon can see which pages and links lead to enquiries. Mixpanel starts when you open the site, except for visitors in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, where it starts only after you press Accept in the cookie notice. Mixpanel works out your approximate location (country and city) from your IP address and gives your browser a random identifier; it receives no name, phone number, email address or form content. When you send an enquiry, Beavcon also records in Mixpanel that an enquiry was received (its reference, type, work types, emirate, budget band and the page it came from), whether or not you pressed Accept; that record contains no personal details. Every visit that Mixpanel measures is also recorded as an anonymised replay of clicks, scrolling and page movement. The enquiry forms and anything typed on the site are never recorded, and pressing Decline stops the recording.

Why we use it

Files and details are used only to prepare your quotation, arrange site visits and respond to tender invitations. We do not sell or share them with third parties beyond the service providers that host our website, storage and email.

Where it is stored

Submissions are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (D1 database and R2 object storage) and notification emails are sent from Beavcon's business email service. Access is restricted to Beavcon staff who need it to prepare your proposal.

Retention

Enquiry records and uploaded files are retained for as long as needed to prepare and follow up your proposal and for our commercial records, after which they are deleted on request or under our retention schedule.

Cookies

Google Tag Manager loads on every public page, but Google Consent Mode v2 is enabled: until you press Accept in the cookie notice, analytics storage is denied, so no analytics cookie is written and the visit is only counted anonymously. Pressing Accept grants analytics storage; pressing Decline keeps it denied. Mixpanel keeps its random identifier in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. It starts when you open the site (after Accept only, for visitors in the EU, EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland) and stops, with that identifier cleared, as soon as you press Decline. We set no advertising or remarketing cookies at any point. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie notice link in the footer, block these cookies in your browser, or ask us to delete analytics data associated with you using the contact details below.
