- Company profile with ownership, organisation chart and key engineering staff
- Recent audited financial statements or bank references, with the period the client asks for
- UAE project list with contract value bands, scope, client and completion status
- HSE policy, incident records and any client or authority safety approvals
- Evidence of work inside occupied or operational facilities, with named constraints
- Insurance certificates and any supplier or subcontractor panel details

Can a small contractor win work at Dubai airport projects?
Yes, but usually as a specialist or package contractor rather than as the main contractor. Aviation programmes break down into hundreds of packages: strip-out, partitions, ceilings, MEP modifications, HVAC, waterproofing, aluminium and glass, flooring, signage and maintenance. Small and mid-sized contractors with one or two strong trades can win those packages if they can prove delivery control.
The deciding factor is rarely company size. It is whether you can show a clear scope, a realistic programme, documented variations and a clean handover file. A contractor with 50+ skilled professionals and three ISO certifications can be a credible package bidder if the references match the work. What matters is that your documentation shows engineering control, not just labour supply.
If you have not worked airside or in an airport before, lead with comparable occupied environments: operating towers, malls, universities or hospitals. The procurement reviewer is looking for evidence that you understand security passes, noise and dust control, out-of-hours working and staged handover.
What ISO certifications do I need for Dubai aviation construction?
Aviation and infrastructure clients often expect ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for environmental management and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, but requirements vary by client and package.
